VRUCHTJES ETEN 
JOOST OOMEN & KRUIDKOEK 

Het uitgangspunt voor de scenografie van Vruchtjes eten was het publiek helpen om zo veel mogelijk plezier te laten hebben. Daarvoor ontwierp ik stuiterende bankjes, zodat als er één publiekslid op het bankje met de muziek mee gaat deinen, daarbij alle andere mensen op het bankje, meeneemt. Er is een skelter behangen met trossen druiven waar publiek op mag rijden, een limoenroulette en een popcornkanon waarmee popcorn het publiek in werd geschoten.

A MUSICAL AND LITERARY PERFORMANCE ABOUT JOY
Writer, poet and performer Joost Oomen (1991) and garage jazz band Kruidkoek will be incorporating you in a quest for joy in Vruchtjes Eten (Eating Fruits). What is joyousness exactly? What is the importance of joy in a world which is increasingly marked by politics based on fearmongering? But the question that really intrigues is what fruits have to do with it. One thing you can be sure of is that you will be traipsing through the Leeuwarden alleyways with a smile on your face afterwards.
